Phil has shared his Christian testimony with over 100 audiences from coast-to-coast and, in 2001, he and Joe assembled a combined football camp and mission trip to Cancun, Mexico.

This year marks the 20th Anniversary of the Community Leaders Prayer Breakfast. We’ve expanded this year’s agenda to include a Leadership Seminar, luncheons and a special pastors meeting to compliment the prayer breakfast.

Our special guest speaker is John Maxwell; an internationally recognized speaker and author who has sold over 16 million books including The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership, and Developing the Leader Within You. His organization has trained more than 2 million leaders worldwide including numerous Fortune 500 companies.

John Maxwell will be speaking at the Seagate Centre in downtown Toledo on Thursday May 7th for the National Day of Prayer Community Leader’s Breakfast at 7 a.m. Furthermore, he’ll conduct a Leadership Seminar from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. specifically developed to assist local leaders in the greater Toledo area to become more effective in directing their organizations. Finally, he’ll address area pastors from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a special message tailored to our region.

The leadership seminar series was developed by a small group of area leaders in the Greater Toledo area who are interested in transforming our community through leadership training. As a community, we can draw from each of our collective strengths to sharpen and support one another for mutual growth. This will be one of several events we hope to coordinate in the next few years.
